For managers and organisers

Texts explained

A text means “act now”. Here is exactly when one arrives, what it looks like, and what to do about it.

What arrives

The four moments

If your league has turned texts on, you get a text as well as an email at the moments that change where you need to be on Saturday:

Reminders and confirmation nudges stay email only, so a text is never routine.

What it looks like

Number, wording, link

Texts come from +44 7400 472940. Save it as a contact so it shows as LeagueHub365 and never looks like an unknown number. Every text starts “LeagueHub365:”, names the opponent and date, and carries one short link on leaguehub365.com, like leaguehub365.com/m/Ab3kZ9xQ. The link opens your team’s private match page, the same page the matching email links to. Nobody else is sent your link; keep it within your coaching team.

Example: LeagueHub365: please set venue & kick-off v Swindon (Sat 19 Sept). https://leaguehub365.com/m/…

Replies and expiry

Can I reply?

Yes. Replies to the number are kept and reach your organiser. It is not a chatbot and nothing is automated from your reply, so the link is still the quickest way to act. Text links last until a week after the match; if one has expired, use the latest email for that fixture or ask your organiser to resend.

For organisers

Turning texts on, and knowing they arrived

Edit league → Fixture Emails → Also send by text, per competition. Texts go to the mobile on the team contact record; landlines are skipped. The Comms log shows each text’s delivery verdict from the mobile network within seconds — Delivered, or Not delivered with the reason — and the Match day card summarises it under the chips. A monthly cap per account protects against runaway sends.
